TOWN HALL

“Led by two-time James Beard nominee Tom Gray, Town Hall is a community gathering spot for sharing good food and drink in good company. Opened in 2017 after extensive renovations of an existing space in the historic neighborhood of San Marco, FL. The menu draws inspiration from fresh, layered flavors and seasonal ingredients from local farms and artisan purveyors. A selection of wines from around the world (also available for retail sale), creative wine cocktails, and Jacksonville’s finest local craft beers are available alongside a meal or in the cozy bar with residential design influences.”

SERVICES PROVIDED

Logo Design
The type-driven logo created for Town Hall aims for approachable fun with a refined sensibility. The shape of the mark references the restaurant's linear layout, while dramatic accents on letterforms at both the front and back offer a nod to the concept's energetic offerings in both the front and back of the space; wine retail and bar street side, dining room in rear. A complementary pattern of overlapping lines was applied to the menu, wine list, website and stationary; taking its cue from layered wood elements present in the floor and facade. Stacked and abbreviated versions of the mark were created for use on applications such as cocktail napkins, web and social media.
