Logo Design
Accenting a new outpost of the well-established brand Café Boulud, this lively bar and lounge required visual branding that would not only set it apart from the upscale restaurant upstairs, but communicate that it was a younger, more hip concept with a casual food and drink offering. In contrast to the existing all caps, serif-style logo of the Café Boulud brand, a lower case, sans serif font was applied and paired with a single, modern red line.  Placed between the first two letters, it subtly calls attention to the initials of Daniel Boulud.
